Support to National AIDS Spending Assessment (NASA) and National Health Accounts (NHA) to establish HIV/AIDS Resource Flows and Expenditure in Mozambique

Brief Project Description

The overall objective of this project is to contribute to the strengthening of National AIDS Spending Assessments in Mozambique. The Specific Objectives of the Project are: (a) to catalyze and facilitate actions which strengthen country level capacities to effectively track HIV expenditures and synthesize this data into strategic information for decision-making; (b) to improve the strategic coherence and quality of CNCS and sector ministries support for tracking HIV resources; and (c) to leverage both technical and financial support for the development, implementation, management, monitoring and evaluation of the national HIV response. Activities: 1) National and regional workshops to build the capacity of NASA Focal Points 2) Collection and analysis of national and provincial health and non-health HIV expenditure 3) Data Input, Analysis and Report Writing and Production of National Report 4)National validation workshop, launch of report and preparation of strategic Information
