Support to Mozambique in the Elaboration of the National Language Policy
Brief Project Description
This activity provided technical advice and guidelines for the process and support in coordination and mobilization of stakeholders, including experience sharing in the spirit of South-South cooperation (ACALAN in particular). Besides promoting and contributing to the safeguarding of the linguistic diversity of Mozambique, the language policy facilitated the scaling-up of bilingual education systems in the primary, secondary, literacy, and non-formal adult education, contributing therefore to the achievement of the Education for All goals.
