- The key objective of this project will therefore be to assist the countries in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) to maintain their disease free status by strengthening the capacity of Southern Africa countries to detect HPAI viruses in the region and to share the information within and beyond the region for use in revising and updating national and regional emergency plans.
