- IOM, ILO and WHO are undertaking related activities with mine sending communities in Gaza. IOM has existing projects in mine sending communities in Mozambique as well as mining related companies in South Africa. IOM activities focus on reducing individual risks by addressing both individual and environmental factors and talking into account structural issues that increase health vulnerability.
