- Brief Project Description
- The project will contribute to the enhancement of incomes and food security amongst the rural population of Mozambique through the effective use of land and natural resources legislation. It will promote a participatory model of rural development that respects local rights and produces concrete economic returns for all stakeholders (communities, investors and the State). It will do this by ensuring that communities and other stakeholders make full use of their legal rights over land and natural resources, however acquired; and that key public sector officers in various branches of the State, including the judiciary, are better prepared to support a more equitable and sustainable development process using tools provided by land and natural resources laws.
