- Brief Project Description
- The overall goal of the National Extension Programme (PRONEA) is to contribute to absolute poverty reduction and to an improvement in the quality of life of the poor men and women, while the purpose of PRONEA is to attain increased returns and improved household food security of subsistence farmers, particularly female-headed and disadvantaged households, through a steady uplift in production efficiency. This will be achieved through: wider access to effective technical support services focused on districts; better organized producer groups influencing supply of services; and delivery of support services in response to requests.
