South-South REDD phase 2: A Brazil-Mozambique Initiative
Brief Project Description
The goal is to develop a national REDD strategy and a national REDD program in Mozambique. The project will provide support to the government of Mozambique on REDD issues, including the R-Plan implementation related to the FCPF of the World Bank. General capacity building and informing government officials on REDD issues to help them articulate on the issue internationally, and to defend the interests of the country in Copenhagen. It is a multi-institutional partnership.
