- Brief Project Description
- Overall Objective : To provide life-saving shelter and NFI assistance to vulnerable IDPs in Gaza, Mozambique Specific Objective 1 : To provide immediate shelter and NFI assistance to 18,750 IDPs currently residing in temporary accommodation areas without safe cover or shelter infrastructure available. Specific Objective 2 : To coordinate and track needs identification, delivery, and distribution of NFIs and health needs to 100,000 IDPs in at least 22 accommodation centres and as they begin return movements to their original homes. Activities • Provide technical management support to local government and partners to coordinate and track distribution and delivery of NFIs to vulnerable IDPs • Purchasing, clearing and delivery of NFIs to Gaza Province • Provide temporary shelter to vulnerable IDPs in 22 accommodation centres in Gaza Province and upon their return home. • Provide shelter planning, set-up and management support for self-settled accommodation centres and destroyed communities • Provide CCCM trained personnel with experience in IDP situations to support the government in tracking movements and identifying key protection and health needs to deliver required services and prevent harm to IDP families.
