- i)Overall Objective : To provide life-saving shelter and NFI assistance to vulnerable IDPs in Mozambique Specific Objective 1 : To provide immediate shelter and NFI assistance to 2000 IDPs affected by flooding in Gaza and Zambezia Provinces. Specific Objective 2 : To coordinate and track needs identification, delivery, and distribution of NFIs to 70,000 IDPs spread throughout Gaza and Zambezia Provinces. ii) Outcomes • 70,000 IDPs are sheltered in accordance with sphere standards (total) • 10,000 IDP families are sheltered in accordance with sphere standards (total) • 2000 families have received direct support in NFIs through this project (iii) Project’s activities • Provide technical management support to local government and partners to coordinate and track distribution and delivery of NFIs to vulnerable IDPs • Purchasing, clearing and delivery of NFIs to Gaza and Zambezia Provinces • Provide temporary shelter to vulnerable IDPs in Gaza and Zambezia Provinces • Provide shelter planning, set-up and management support for self-settled accommodation
