- Brief Project Description
- The aim of the intervention on long-term is to strengthen and increase the efficiency of the utility, both with regards to technical and economic efficiency, as to provide electricity to their current and future prospective clients. Fundamental for an efficient strengthening is the capacity of decision making and management within EDM, which is further highly dependent on correct and timely information of the activities of the business. The intervention mainly targets the information systems within the utility. The main components include; the development of a strategy on an integrated Data/Information System for EDM; and a related system for performance management (outputs). The intention is that the system will improve current processes and databases within EDM to supply accurate and timely data for predetermined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (output), which will be used, primarily, in the decision-making of the executive Board and top management at EDM (outcome).
