Increase resilience of vulnerable communities to the effects of El NiƱo in Mozambique
Brief Project Description
The interventions will address the impact of the climate change by exploiting agriculture practices and technics that will include the promotion of genetic diversity, inter-crop diversity, switching to crops that are more resilient, use of better-adapted varieties of the same crop developed through on-farm selection, reinforce formal breeding programs, participatory plant breeding, conservation agriculture, etc.
